Prenita Mack, PMP®

Business Development Coordinator

As the Business Development Coordinator, Prenita provides a full range of planning, coordination, and support to advance CRDA’s economic development mission, strategic objectives, and annual priorities. In her previous role as the Director and Asset Manager at South Carolina Community Capital Alliance, Prenita led statewide efforts to coordinate and build an entrepreneurial ecosystem through strategic partnerships among competitive CDFIs, the state’s nonprofit lenders, and regional funders to expand the affordable capital footprint, aiming to broaden access to essential capital and support services for minority and underserved entrepreneurs.

Prenita holds a Political Science degree from Furman University and is a Project Management Professional (PMP®), a global certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), where she is also an active member and Director of the Project Management for Nonprofit Program at the local Charleston PMI Chapter. Prenita also sits on the Investment Advisory Committee of Abundance Capital, a nonprofit, venture philanthropy platform, helping charitable donors activate place-based impact investing across the South.

Prenita resides in Summerville, SC with her husband, two extraordinary sons, and Luke, a handsome black golden doodle.
