The late Phillip Simmons, the Lowcountry’s famous ironworker, will be featured on the PBS special, Craft in America: Origins. Origins takes an in-depth look at the history, technique and artists of the craft movement.

The program will air on Wednesday, October 7 at 8 p.m. on PBS. Other artisans featured in this program include: a master potter, a beadworker, a weaver, a basketweaver.
