Football in the South is truly inspiring, and we’re hard pressed to imagine a more storied gridiron history than that of Summerville High School, home to John McKissick, America’s winningest high school coach (500+ victories, and counting). Last week, the school celebrated its homecoming with its annual parade and bonfire. Less typical: the national NBC sports desk sent a crew down to film the Decades of Dominance celebration. It aired a piece titled “All American Homecoming” during the Sunday night pregame on October 9.
