Woodlands Inn Adds Live Painting to Sunday Brunch

Artist Rick Reinert painting during brunch

Woodlands Inn in Summerville began offering a Grand Champagne Sunday Brunch buffet in September, and to make the meal a little more creative, they have added an “Artist’s Palate” to the weekly event. Each Sunday, a local artist will live-paint during the meal. Artists will interact with guests, and even give them painting tips!

Along with live painting, you’ll find numerous food stations featuring local ingredients, live music, ice cravings and more on Sundays for $42 per person. Enjoy beautiful Lowcountry views from the dining room and this top-notch property (Woodlands is one of only six properties in the U.S. to hold a Forbes Five Star and AAA Five Diamond rating for both dining and lodging).

Chef Andrew Chadwick has just come on board, bringing with him plenty of fine dining experience. Previously, Chadwick earned three Michelin stars and opened another Five Star, Five Diamond restaurant.

  1. This is absolutely AWESOME. By far the best brunch in town and much cheaper than most other places we have been. We drive from downtown Charleston and try to go out once per month.
