Carol Hannah Whitfield, a South Carolina native and former Charleston resident, has made it to the finals of Project Runway. The season began with two designers from Charleston.

Carol Hannah graduated from College of Charleston in 2007 and was a finalist in Charleston Fashion Week’s “Emerging Designer” contest in 2008. The show finished taping in early 2009, and Carol Hannah has since moved to New York City.

The winner will receive a cash prize of $100,000, a trip to Paris and a feature story in the upcoming issue of Marie Claire.

The season finale will air in tw0 parts on Lifetime, beginning Thursday at 10 p.m. and the next episode airs Thursday, Nov. 19 at the same time.
