Entrepreneurship Conference Coming to Columbia in April

New Carolina, an organization that has been very supportive of Charleston’s Creative Parliament (the group that organizes Pecha Kucha here), is hosting a conference for entrepreneurs on Thursday, April 7. “A Conversation on High Impact Entrepreneurship” is an annual entrepreneurship event, and will be held from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Are you a leader in business, government, economic development, or at a university or college? Are you interested in promoting the growth of South Carolina’s homegrown firms? If you answered yes to either question–then this conference is for you!

Attendees will hear results from the USC research project on types of entrepreneurial firms creating jobs in South Carolina, identify opportunities for promoting growth of South Carolina’s homegrown firms and define the next steps in creating a stronger entrepreneurial economy in South Carolina.

The conference will take place at the Harbison Theater at Midlands Technical College Harbison Campus. Tickets are $75. Click here to register.

New Carolina is a non-profit working to increase South Carolina’s economic competitiveness through a cluster development strategy. The organization focuses on strengthening core industries through clusters, fostering innovation in business and education through initiatives and connecting the dots across efforts.
