Charleston is now home to an Entrepreneur Center, which offers numerous ways for emerging entrepreneurs to sharpen their skills. Networking, training, business development classes and more will be offered through FastTracSC and other organizations. The center hopes to help entrepreneurs create, manage and grow successful businesses, and will offer a series of classes to help at every stage in the business development process.

The SCORE office will connect executives in various industries with budding entrepreneurs through a mentor program. Plus, the EXECnetSC program offers a pool of retired and semi-retired executives that are willing to serve in management positions of early stage ventures.
