By Ashley Fletcher Frampton The company opened an office with two employees in the Henderson Building, at 5300 International Blvd., in January. BRPH is working with BE&K Building Group and Turner Construction Co. on a design-build approach to the Boeing construction project. Initially, staff in the local office will provide direct support for the Boeing project, said spokeswoman Kimberly Eye. But BRPH is also looking for future work here. “We see Charleston as a major growth market for us, and this new office will help position BRPH as a professional services leader in the Southeast,” said Brad Harmsen, president and CEO. Officials said the company is targeting other local projects in the education and aviation sectors but declined to give details. BRPH handled master planning and design services for the two Boeing facilities already in North Charleston, originally built and owned by Vought Aircraft Industries and Global Aeronautica. BRPH also recently added a new office in Washington, D.C., where its clients include multiple federal agencies. The company’s headquarters are in Melbourne, Fla. It has offices in Atlanta and Savannah, and Orlando and West Palm Beach, Fla. |
