An American Dreamliner in Paris: North Charleston-made 787-10 to be featured at air show

One of the North Charleston-made 787-10 Dreamliners will be on display at next week’s Paris Air Show as Boeing Co. uses the world’s oldest aerospace event to show off the company’s newest twin-aisle jet.

The 787-10 that will make the trip to Paris for the air show’s 108th year is the same one that made the program’s initial test flight from Charleston International Airport in March. It has already logged more than 175 hours in the air as one of two Dash 10s currently undergoing test flights in Seattle. A third 787-10 was scheduled to make its first test flight in North Charleston last week.
