Bosch plant to add 100 jobs in North Charleston

Robert Bosch Corp. is adding 100 new jobs at its North Charleston facility, the result of continued strong demand for the company’s anti-lock brakes and fuel system units for gas and diesel engines. Bosch currently employs 2,450.

David Brown, director of human resources for the company’s North Charleston plant, could not be reached for comment, but a representative of MAU Workforce Solutions in Charleston, a staffing company, confirmed that it has been contracted to manage the hiring process.

The company has openings for skilled setup mechanics to repair and maintain the high-tech production equipment used during the fabrication process and for semi-skilled workers.
