Charleston-based Rewined Candles recognized for export growth

Charleston-based Rewined Candles has received recognition from the U.S. Department of Commerce for its growing export business that now sends products to 42 international markets.

Mayor John Tecklenburg presented the company with an Export Achievement Certificate, a federal award that recognizes small- and medium-sized businesses that have created sales in new markets.

“Rewined’s success overseas shows that the world wants what Charleston companies are selling,” Dorette Coetsee, director of the U.S. Commercial Service offices in South Carolina, said in a statement. “Goods and services from all over South Carolina are defined by quality and creativity, and global consumers recognize that.”
