Charleston Regional Business Journal
Universal Solutions, a leading provider of business communications services and solutions from the Gulf Coast to the Mid-Atlantic states, has been recognized as a Platinum Certified Business Partner by Avaya, the global leader in communications networks technology. Of more than 15,000 businesses certified by Avaya to sell their products, only 17 have achieved platinum status.

“Universal Solutions is a tremendously valued business partner,” says Susan Bailey, vice president, Americas, global accounts, channels and alliances, Avaya. According to Bailey, Avaya’s platinum partners must progress through an exceptionally rigorous, step-by-step review process to attain this level of certification. Among other things, companies must have several Avaya Certified Specialists on staff to provide technical assistance, they must meet stringent customer service requirements and they must have scored a minimum of 85% on Avaya’s Customer Satisfaction Report. Universal Solutions met or exceeded each of these, including a customer satisfaction score that surpassed 90%.

“We’ve built our business around unsurpassed customer satisfaction,” said Robert Y. Scott, CEO of Universal Solutions, “and we’re pleased to see that Avaya shares and supports our vision. Together, we’re committed to creating an environment where it’s easy and affordable for today’s businesses to receive the most outstanding service possible and the most advanced solutions available.”
