College of Charleston’s Computer Science Department is Expanding

We are excited to announce that we are expanding (again!)!  The department has acquired additional space on the second floor of Harbor Walk East.

The new space will hold the Student Innovation Center; a student creative work space with access to a Rapid Prototyping Lab, VR Room, and technical equipment for students to check out and explore with!

Continuing to bridge the gap between academia and the tech industry, the center will be integrated with The COMPASS, or the COMputing Professionals And Student Scholars.  The COMPASS will be a cooperative education space intended to spark internships, collaborations, and opportunities for our students, faculty, and industry partners.
