North Charleston-based BioMetrics Solutions Group wins a "Product of the Year" finalist award.Sep. 1, 2002 Charleston Post and Courier
Access Control & Security Systems magazine cited the company for its Hydra access control system product earlier this month at the American Society of Industrial Security's 48th annual Seminar & Exhibits, held in Philadelphia. The system is designed for extreme temperatures, especially outdoors, said Greg Yarus, product and business development manager. The company has systems at UCLA Medical Center, Chicago's O'Hare Airport and at schools, hospitals, office centers, government buildings and upscale residential developments. Hydra's system includes an optical fingerprint sensor developed by California-based SecuGen Corp., a BioMetrics partner. |
