Imagine Air, an Atlanta-based on-demand air taxi company, plans to add planes and pilots to its Charleston International Airport location in an expansion set to wrap up in October.

The company lets busy travelers take direct flights to more than 600 airports in the Southeast underserved by commercial airlines. It uses a fleet of Cirrus SR-22 four-seat prop-driven aircraft.

The increased availability in Charleston extends to all airports, including Charleston Executive, Mount Pleasant Regional, Georgetown County, Beaufort County and others.
