British buying Cougar vehicles from Charleston-based Force Protection, Inc.

Force Protection, Inc. announced it has been awarded a contract by the British Ministry of Defense for more than 85 Cougar Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) vehicles and related parts and services worth approximately $63 million. A movie studio complex is in the works for the Lowcountry. Tentatively called Trident Studios of South Carolina, the complex is slated to occupy 10 to 15 acres of Trident Technical College’s forthcoming Enterprise Campus. Growing international trade spurs Class ‘A’ warehouse development

Joint venture partners Childress Klein Properties and Amstar Group are moving forward with plans to develop nearly a million square feet of Class “A” warehouse/distribution space in the Charleston region.
