Sawgrass Technologies expands Charleston operations

Sawgrass Technologies, a global leader in the development of on-demand digital imaging technologies, announced today that is has expanded its current facilities into an additional 4,000 square feet of new office space on Long Point Road in Mount Pleasant.

Sawgrass Technologies’ existing office and research and development operations include more than 21,000 sq. ft. at its headquarters location at 2233 Highway 17 North in Mount Pleasant. Additionally, Sawgrass holds 20,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing facilities adjacent to the new office space on Long Point Road.

“Sawgrass Technologies’ continued growth has made this expansion critical,” stated Nathan Hale, President and CEO. “Our ongoing success warrants the investment in the expansion of our facilities and workforce in order to meet the projected demands in the foreseeable future.”

The new facility will house the Sawgrass Customer Care Center and its DirectAdvantage Technical Support team, with plans for further expanding operations in the future. The new space provides enhanced noise control structures that allow for better communications with customers. With the expansion, Sawgrass is able to dedicate the vacated space at its headquarters location towards a new product demonstration area for its large format Commercial and Industrial Sales division, allowing clients and prospective customers to see digital imaging solutions in progress.
