Scientific Research Corp nets $5.9M contract modification

Scientific Research Corp. of North Charleston has been awarded a $5.9 million modification to an existing contract to provide integrated systems engineering support services to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center in Charleston.

Under the terms of the modified agreement, the Atlanta-based federal defense contractor will provide system engineering, software integration, configuration management and other implementation services for various computer-assisted command and control projects. The company also has locations in Virginia, Florida, Alabama, New Jersey, New Mexico, Colorado and California.

The contract includes four one-year options, which, if exercised, would bring the agreement’s cumulative value to $33.48 million.

About half of the work is expected to be performed in Charleston and the other half in Lexington Park, Md. 		related information
