The Woodlands receives second top recognition

A week after announcing its Five Diamond Award from AAA, Woodlands Resort & Inn and The Dining Room at the Woodlands were honored again with the Mobil Five-Star Award. This is the fourth consecutive year Woodlands has received this designation.

Since 1958, Mobil Travel Guide has served as an advocate for travelers seeking knowledge about places, hotels and restaurants.

“The Mobil Five-Star Award indicates that a dining or lodging experience is one of the best in the country,” said Shane O’Flaherty, vice president of quality assurance for Mobil Travel Guide. “These properties consistently provide an unparalleled level of service and quality that distinguishes them from their peers.”

The Woodlands is one of only three properties in North America to hold a Mobil Five-Star rating for lodging and dining. Other properties claiming the distinction are the Ritz-Carlton San Francisco and the Inn at Little Washington in Washington, Va. Woodlands is the only Mobil Five-Star resort in South Carolina. 		related information
