Volvo Subcontractor Outreach Event

Companies interested in the construction of the Volvo car plant in Berkeley County can learn more about the project at an event this month.

The Subcontractor Outreach Event on March 30 will provide information on the status of the Volvo project, the anticipated schedule and current and upcoming bid packages.

Construction began on the 2,880-acre automotive campus in September. The S60 sedan will be exclusively built there. Cars are expected to start rolling off assembly lines in 2018.
