Wave Sciences Corporation, an internationally recognized leader in audio and video forensics and C4ISR technology, is pleased to announce the relocation of its Corporate Headquarters to Charleston, South Carolina. After considering Atlanta, Georgia; Raleigh, North Carolina and other communities in South Carolina, Wave Sciences Corporation President J. Keith McElveen cited Charleston as an attractive location for his company based on the proximity to his federal government customers, the growing advanced Security Cluster in the Charleston Region, attractive lifestyle and the presence of the Charleston International Airport’s competitive airline service.

“There is an energy in Charleston similar to what I saw at Raleigh’s Research Triangle Park several years back,” stated Keith McElveen. “There is a definite feeling that this place is going somewhere,” he added. Wave Sciences Corporation is located at the Flagship, Charleston’s premier co-working business environment that opened to entrepreneurs on June 1, 2009 and is being managed by the City of Charleston’s Charleston Digital Corridor initiative.

Charleston Mayor, Joseph P. Riley, Jr. welcomed the location of Wave Sciences Corporation to the City and pledged his continued support to expanding Charleston’s entrepreneurial economy. “The city of Charleston is making all the necessary program and infrastructure investments to support knowledge-based companies and the location of Keith’s company to our beautiful city validates our commitment,” he stated.

“We envisioned companies like Wave Sciences Corporation utilizing the Flagship,” said Digital Corridor Director, Ernest Andrade. Charleston has the assets to attract young engineers and other entrepreneurial professionals seeking a high livability city,” he added.
