South Carolina Stingrays

The South Carolina Stingrays is a professional minor league hockey team based in North Charleston that every season brings sports and entertainment to over 250,000 attendees who reside in the tri-county region. The team has been proud members of the ECHL since the 1993-94 season, making them the longest continuously operating member club of the league still playing in its original city. The Stingrays have won the Kelly Cup league championship three times, the second most of any ECHL franchise. The South Carolina Stingrays are the ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Washington Capitals and AHL's Hershey Bears. The Stingrays organization is a real asset in the community serving as an effective platform to highlight local businesses and not-for-profit organizations around the Lowcountry.
