Talent & Strategic Initiatives
Leveraging a passion for communications and strategic partnerships, Jamie facilitates connections and dialogue with Charleston business, academic and community leaders to strengthen the region’s startup ecosystem, support the fast-growing IT sector, and attract talent for high-demand occupations. She also leads two long-standing collaborative programs supported by dozens of local business partners: the Global Fluency initiative and the Charleston Open Source talent attraction campaign.
Jamie is a member of the Citadel School of Science and Mathematics’ Swain Center for Corporate Engagement Advisory Board, a member of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce's Talent Advisory Board, and a Rotary Club of Charleston Breakfast member. She also is a 2019 Forty Under 40 Award winner, recognized for her success and community involvement in the Charleston region.
A native of West Virginia, Jamie began to fall in love with South Carolina when attending Clemson University where she earned a B.A. in Communication Studies. She currently lives in Mount Pleasant with her husband, son and two dogs. Jamie loves the Clemson Tigers, Steelers, and photographing Charleston’s natural beauty.
