Bon Appetit Helps You Navigate Charleston in Autumn

The November issue of Bon Appetit has a handy guide to visiting Charleston in autumn. The article begins, “This charming South Carolina town is an ideal fall foodie getaway, thanks to a bumper crop of Low Country produce, an Indian summer that stretches to Thanksgiving, and some of the best restaurants in the South.”

The introduction of Southwest Airlines to the Charleston International Airport is mentioned, as well as several newcomers to the travel & tourism industry. Restoration on King, a contemporary boutique hotel with full kitchens, is a suggested place to stay. Plus, new wine bar on lower King Street, Bin 152, is described as follows: “Even the furniture is for sale in this convivial Parisian wine bar tucked among the rows of downtown antique shops. You can rub elbows with the local sous-chefs and bons vivants at the long bar while enjoying Fanny and Patrick Panella’s carefully curated selection of 130 wines and 21 cheeses.

Each destination mentioned in the article can be found in the illustrated map of Charleston too!
