Food Tour to Take in Charleston’s Finest

Imagine enjoying a week-long line-up of Charleston’s finest foods, wines, beer and entertainment from nationally acclaimed restaurants like Husk, Cypress and Charleston Grill. Well, that’s the gastronomic future for 16 lucky foodies who will embark on Bunkycook’s first-ever culinary adventure to Charleston (November 6-9).

It seems that all of Charleston’s accolades (#1 city by Condé Nast, #2 top city by Travel + Leisure) have aroused the curiosity and appetite of the Atlanta-based food blogger Gwen Pratesi. She’s the travel/food blogger who maintains “Bunkycooks.”  Other Bunkycook 2011 culinary adventures have included stops in Oregon, Wisconsin, Virginia and Florida.

Bunkycook’s website features the entire itinerary for the Charleston food tour in November. Participants will enjoy a 3-night, 4-day stay at the Charleston Place Hotel. The tour includes private motor coach drives, farm tours, cooking classes and a farm lunch. Diners will enjoy meals and cocktails at Cypress, Trattoria Lucca, Charleston Grill, and Husk. The tour costs $950 per person. Be sure to give the 16 participants a true Charleston welcome!
