Upstart carrier Breeze Airways is launching another route from Charleston, but it also will end nonstop service to three large West Coast destinations and add layovers to the flights.

The airline will offer twice-weekly flights on Wednesday and Saturday between the Lowcountry and Cincinnati starting Feb. 8 with one-way fares beginning at $39. Introductory rates are good through Oct. 24 for travel by May 16.

The flight will continue onto the West Coast after what the carrier is calling a “Breeze Thru,” or a layover where passengers headed beyond the stop remain on the plane. It will mark the end of the nonstop service between the Lowcountry and the City by the Bay that was launched earlier this year.
