‘Fiske Guide’ Names CofC a Top School

For the 17th year in a row, the Fiske Guide to Colleges has named the College of Charleston as one of “the best and most interesting institutions in the nation.”

The noted guidebook compiled by Edward Fiske, former New York Times education editor, includes over 300 colleges and universities out of the more than 2,200 four-year institutions of higher education in the United States.

According to the 2022 edition of the publication, “the College of Charleston has become the finest public liberal arts and sciences institution in South Carolina, propelled by an honors college, opportunities for internships and study abroad, and a healthy social life.”
