German intralogistics software and process management firm, IdentPro, announced the launch of its U.S. operations in the Charleston region to meet the growing American demand for their Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. IdentPro will first land in Charleston County and is expected to create 30 jobs.

IdentPro touted the Charleston region’s strategic location and strong partnerships for sustainable scale-up as main reasons for their site selection. Other attractive attributes include access to advanced technology, skilled labor, and cross-transportation infrastructure, including the deepest port on the east coast.

“We are excited to welcome IdentPro to our region and have them join our growing tech community,” said Mike Fuller, Chairman of the Charleston Regional Development Alliance. “Their vision for growth complements our regional need to have innovative logistics products available to our market. Congratulations to IdentPro, our partners in Charleston County, and everyone involved in this economic development win that will provide high-paying jobs for our residents.”

“With the opening of our office in the US, we will have a stable base in the USA that will enable IdentPro to support our customers in the US,” said Erik van Rikxoort, President and CEO, IdentPro-USA. “The choice of Charleston positions us in the fastest growing tech industry in the US and will help us to support our US based customers even better. For our European customers, we will be a better partner by giving them the high level of support in the USA as they receive from us in Europe.”

IdentPro’s digital twin environment and warehouse solutions allow for inventory levels to be viewed at any time and in real-time for optimal supply chain decision making. These IoT solutions enable greater efficiency, increased production, faster processing and shorter delivery times for customers.
