MUSC FRD on the Development of Medical Innovations and Partnership Opportunities

What is “medical innovation”?  Simply put, it is creativity applied to a need in the biomedical community.  Medical innovation touches everyone’s lives, be it through new drugs and devices, or new ways to prevent, diagnose, manage and monitor health problems.  Just recently, a report on the innovation impact of U.S. Universities ranked MUSC 3^rd of all “pure” medical schools for its impact on innovation.  As an integral part of the MUSC innovation ecosystem, MUSC Foundation for Research Development (FRD) is dedicated to advancing MUSC’s overall societal and economic impact on our community, state and country.
