Charleston International soon can boast an even dozen air carriers.
Fledgling airline Avelo announced Feb. 16 it will launch flights in May between Charleston and New Haven, Conn., the low-cost carrier’s East Coast base.
The Houston-based upstart is offering an introductory one-way fare of $49 for flights booked by March 2. Other fees may apply.
