Southwest Airlines plans to add nonstop, seasonal service to St. Louis and expand its flights to Denver from Charleston International Airport this summer, according to a news release.

From June 4 until Aug. 14, Southwest will fly to St. Louis on Saturdays and Sundays and to Denver seven days a week. The Denver service is an expansion from its nonstop weekly service to that city that launched in June.

“Southwest told us how pleased they were with the Denver route last summer,” Paul Campbell Jr., executive director and CEO of the Charleston County Aviation Authority, said in a news release. “New destinations in similar markets started as seasonal offerings. We’d love to have Southwest make Denver and St. Louis permanent daily nonstop flights to those great cities.”
