United Airlines Adds Routes to Ohio and Other Midwestern States

United Airlines is connecting Charleston to six Midwestern cities by adding 18 more weekly flights.

Starting May 27, the airline will begin nonstop service between Charleston International Airport and Pittsburgh; Indianapolis; Milwaukee; Cleveland; Cincinnati; and Columbus, Ohio.

The new destinations more than double United’s nonstop flights out of Charleston and create another route for those traveling to and from Ohio, one of the top states of origins for visitors to the Lowcountry, said Helen Hill, the CEO of the Charleston Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.
