Bombay Sapphire Gin and GQ Magazine are searching for  “Charleston’s Most Inspired Bartender” on Thursday, July 30 at the Riveria Theater (225 King St.). The event starts at 9 p.m. and goes until midnight. This is just one of more than 40 stops in search of the “Nation’s Most Inspired Bartender” search. Other Southern cities competing for the title include: Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville and New Orleans.

Charleston’s contest will host special guest Milo Rodriguez, Bombay Sapphire Master Mixologist, and DJ Trav will provide the tunes. The cost is $25, and all proceeds will go to Charleston Chefs Feed The Need. Bombay Sapphire cocktails and hor d’oeuvres will be served. Finalists will be featured in GQ’s “Man of the Year” issue.
