Some folks in Charleston were left a little confused after we saw the August episode featuring several Lowcountry locations. Why? Because we heard he visited Joe Riley Stadium (home of the Riverdogs minor league baseball team)Â and a few other places, but they did not make the episode. Now we know why–Man v. Food will air a second Charleston episode next Wednesday, September 30 at 10 p.m. featuring scenes from The Joe.
According to the Travel Channel website:
Adam Richman visits 3 baseball stadiums known for serving up the most delicious and unique ballpark grub in the country. Adam’s pit stops include GCS Stadium, home to the Gateway Grizzlies; Joseph P. Riley Jr. Park, home to the Charleston River Dogs; Fifth-Third Ballpark, home to the West Michigan Whitecaps.
Host Adam Richman will test his luck at The Joe with the Homewrecker Challenge, an all-beef, half-pound, foot-long hot dog that comes with the choice of 20+ toppings.
We’ve heard that Adam has taken a liking to our city, so Adam come back soon!
