Charleston County School District unveiled five new facilities on Friday. This included three schools, a stadium and an advanced studies center.
ABC News 4 got a tour to find out the plan as we traveled inside a facility that district officials say is geared toward the local business community as well.
“Welcome to the Cooper River Center for Advanced Studies,” said Principal Vanessa Brown. She gave us our first look inside this brand new state-of-the-art facility.
It’s an 84,000-square-foot building across from North Charleston High School. It’s focused on career and technology education for roughly 600 students.
