Best-Selling Author & Founding Editor of Fast Company Magazine to Speak in Charleston

The Charleston Regional Development Alliance (CRDA)’s Annual Luncheon will feature a keynote address by William Taylor, Founding Editor of Fast Company magazine and best-selling author of two books about business innovation. Taylor’s speech will discuss creating a business culture that embraces change on a daily basis at the Thursday, November 4 event.

Taylor is a hugely successful editor and entrepreneur. He advocates a people-centric leadership model, a network approach to cultivating ideas, and a relentless focus on being extraordinary, as the key ways to achieving market dominance. Click here to read his Harvard Business blog.

The luncheon will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Trident Technical College’s Complex for Economic Development. Tickets are available to the public for $75 (CRDA investors for $50). Tickets are available for purchase online and registration ends on Oct. 29. Attendees will also receive an update from the CRDA on the Charleston region’s economic development efforts. The annual luncheon marks the 15th anniversary of the CRDA, which is in the process of developing an economic strategy for the region.
