Campus tours have just gotten much easier for parents, campus staff and potential students of College of Charleston–they have introduced the nation’s first self-guided mobile app to tour the campus. Students and parents no longer have to travel to Charleston to get a tour of the school. These virtual tours are also a great way to reach the younger, tech-hungry generations.

The free app is available for the iPhone and iPod Touch and can be downloaded in the Apple iTunes App Store. This high-tech tour includes GPS assistance, 18 videos, 60 images, views inside nearly every campus building and narration by CofC students. Plus, you can get a virtual look at parts of campus that most people haven’t seen like inside the President’s house!
