CofC Starts the Year with New Ranking

College of Charleston is starting the year of with accolades. The school has earned the #56 spot on Kiplinger’s Personal Finance’s annual “100 Best Values in Public Colleges 2009-2010.” The issue will hit newsstands in February.

CofC moved up 13 places from the #69 position that it earned the previous year. Rankings are based on the schools’ academic quality and their ability to keep costs affordable.
