Callie's Charleston Biscuits

If you know anything about Charleston, then you’re probably aware of the award-winning chefs and restaurants we have here. In recent years, there has also been an increase in local food products coming from Charleston. BlackJack Barbecue, Callie’s Charleston Biscuits, Charleston Crepe Company and Charleston Cookie Co. are just a few of the Charleston-based products that have gotten national attention.

On Monday, Post & Courier highlighted three locally made food products. Charleston Coffee Roasters, Callie’s Charleston Biscuits and Charleston Nut Co./Hilton Head Popcorn Co. were interviewed about their businesses. The owners discuss the difficulty expanding to new stores and markets, plans for expansion and more.
