College of Charleston Named a Top Producer of Fulbright Students

The College of Charleston has been named a sixth top producer of Fulbright students among master’s-level colleges and universities in the United States. The College is the only South Carolina school to make the list.

A record number of five students from CofC received Fulbright awards for the 2019-20 academic year. A total of 33 College of Charleston students applied for Fulbrights during this period.

“The College of Charleston is proud to be recognized again as a top producer of Fulbright students,” says College of Charleston President Andrew T. Hsu. “The College of Charleston has a very robust undergraduate research program, which positions our students to compete for these prestigious awards. We, at the College, are extremely proud of these outstanding students and this recognition. They will serve as excellent international ambassadors for the College and the Fulbright program.”
