Charleston-based Corporate Vision Inc. has executed a licensing agreement for the rights to patents used in its “Jezco System” integrated transportation network.

The Jezco System is an alternative means of containerizing liquid and solid waste for transportation via traditional flatbed and box-van trailers. Waste materials cannot generally be accommodated by such modes of transportation.

Richard D. Tuorto, Corporate Vision chairman, says the Jezco System will “dramatically increase distribution capabilities while simultaneously reducing transportation costs for the industry as a whole.”

Through the agreement, Corporate Vision may use the Jezco System indefinitely through the payment of royalty fees and adherence to guidelines set by the inventor. The company has launched an operating subsidiary, CV Transportation Inc., to implement and integrate the Jezco System as return haul for its recently acquired sister company, B-Right Trucking Co., with annual revenues in excess of $40 million for the past three years.
