The City of Charleston’s Minority Business Development Office has created Charleston’s only database of minority- and women-owned businesses. The database of more than 400 certified businesses will be used to market these enterprises in the public and private sectors. Businesses in the database range from construction firms to food service providers.
“The City of Charleston has created an invaluable tool which will enable more minorities and women to access our strong economy and develop business which can thrive in today’s market,” says Charleston Mayor Joseph P. Riley Jr.
