NASCAR.com teams again with netSCOPE Inc. to provide webcasting technologies

MOUNT PLEASANT, SC — netSCOPE, Inc. is continuing its agreement with NASCAR.com to provide all web casting images for pre-race activities for the 37-race, 2006 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series. This marks
the fifth straight year that netSCOPE has provided this service.

The company will provide GarageCam images in numerous possible variations each week. Fans may log on and see live shots of the track, garage area, pit row, the leader board, team haulers, grandstands, and the inspection area. Each Thursday before a race, a link to these images can be seen on, “http://www.nascar.com”

Images are transmitted in large, 320 by 240 format via netSCOPE’s proprietary software and hardware. Over 4 million images are served each race weekend to over 200,000 individual users each month.
