netSCOPE secures contract with NASCAR

netSCOPE Inc. has secured a contract with NASCAR.com to provide Web-casting images for pre-race activities during the 36-race NASCAR Winston Cup Series.

The company will provide garage cam images in several possible variations each week. Fans may log on and see live shots of the track, garage area, pit row, the leader board, team haulers, grandstands and the inspection area.

Each Friday before a race, these images can be seen at www.nascar.com. On Saturday and early Sundays before television coverage begins, images move to www.nascar.com/multimedia/index.html.

Founded four years ago, netSCOPE has provided Webcam coverage to the Around Alone sailing event, the H.L. Hunley excavation and other programs across the country.
