Blackbaud makes 2 buys; broadens nonprofit market reach

Blackbaud Inc., the Charleston-based software maker, said Tuesday it paid $60 million in cash to buy two private companies that also build technology for nonprofit fundraising groups. The newly acquired businesses, Cambridge, Mass.-based Target Software Inc. and Target Analysis Group Inc., employ about 200 workers and collected about $20 million in revenue last year.
