ST. GEORGE-Dorchester County officials and business executives broke ground Tuesday for a 10,000-square-foot speculative industrial building at the St. George New Century Industrial Park.
The 15-acre park, which is on Academy Road near St. George, has three sites. This is the first building in the park, which opened last year.
New Century is a partnership between Dorchester County, the town of St. George and Edisto Electric Cooperative.
