The boating industry continues to crest with the more buoyant economy.
At least 450 new jobs have been announced over the past two months near Summerville as two boat builders expand.
On Friday, Sportsman Boats Manufacturing said it will more than double the size of its facility and create 150 jobs to support its saltwater fishing boat line.
The announcement comes two months after Scout Boats said it would expand its operations and add 300 jobs.
