If you normally think of Daniel Island when you hear about tennis, think again. Tennis magazine is focused on Kiawah Island, a name normally synonymous with golf. In its October issue, the magazine places Kiawah Resort on three of its Top 5 lists.
Under the category of “Best for Families,” Kiawah ranked No. 2. For “Best for Teaching,” the resort ranked No. 4. And, for “Best for Lodging,” Kiawah landed at No. 5. The Charleston area was also listed as one of the more desirable locations for retired tennis players.
