Red Bull isn’t just an energy drink, it’s an “extreme” brand. Red Bull sponsors extreme athletes and sports events, but also hosts a photography contest, The Red Bull Illume Image Quest. The Red Bull Illume exhibition is coming to Charleston and will display the world’s best action and adventure photographs. Beginning March 18, photos from the 50 Image Quest finalists will be displayed in light boxes in Marion Square from 7 to 11 p.m. nightly until March 27.

This worldwide photography contest received over 22,000 submissions from more than 4,700 photographers in 112 countries. Click here to meet the finalists, and vote for the overall winner here. I guess Red Bull gives photographers wings too!
