Join bearded and mustached men of the southeast this weekend as they compete in the Southeastern Beard & Mustache Championship. We told you about money raised inaugural event last year, but now you have time to enter and attend this second annual event. Holy City Beard & Mustache Society hosts the event, which is a Team Beard USA sanctioned event.

Whether you have neatly trimmed facial hair, wild and unruly fuzz or even a fake mustache–there’s a category for you!

• Sideburns (chin is shaven & hair is optional on the upper lip, styling aids allowed)
• Corporate Beard (for the 9 to 5 rat race)
• College Beard (for those enrolled in college & aged 18-24)
• Gnarliest Beard (enough said)
• Moustache (facial hair only on the upper lip, natural or styled)
• Goatee (facial hair grown only on the chin or upper/lower lip, moustache is not required)
• Facial Hair Freestyle (any style of facial hair styled & cut as desired, use of styling aids are allowed)
• Ladies Artificial Beard (bring your own & be creative)
• Gray Beard (beard of the distinguished mature gentleman with varying shades of gray)
• Full Beard Natural (as grown with moustache integrated, no styling aids allowed)

Mac Leapheart, Guilt Ridden Troubador and Flatt City will provide tunes for the evening. Angela Chvarak will be live painting, and attendees have a chance to win numerous door prizes. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door, with proceeds from the event going to Lowcountry Women with Wings. Click here to register for the competition.
